WOW! What a great trip!

This was easily the best riding trip we have ever had. For this trip we were Chrissy (my fianc�), Robb (my friend from Atlanta, who flew in just for this trip), Greg, Laura, Dave, Jodie, Jason Cowie, and Casey (Jason Cowie's girlfriend). Everyone had bikes except for Chrissy, she had her Honda Rencon 250, Cowie who had is Yamaha Grizzly 660, and Casey who rode with Cowie... [Click here for more]

We were in Estes Park for Chrissy's graduation. Her mom, dad, sister, step-mom, and us all stayed at the Stanley Hotel for the weekend in Estes Park (non-riding pictures).

I drove my Nighthawk 750 from Erie to Estes Park and back though Nederland, taking the long and curvy way of course. In total I did 250 miles.

About half of the ride was in Rocky Mountain National Park, I had hoped to ride to Lake Granby to take the much more scenic and longer route back. But the only pass from Estes Park to Grand Lake was still snowed in. They hope to have it open by Memorial weekend.

The "Witching Hour Ball" this year was at the Howlin' Wolf, 907 S. Peters St. in New Orleans.

The bands this year were much better than last, but the venue was not good for talking or viewing each other's fabulous costumes and outfits :( So I didn't end up taking that many pics, but I will be posting others here as I get them.

Crested Butte

This is a GREAT area to ride, probably the best in the US. It has the MOST single track in Colorado, I've heard the most in the continental US. There are lots of ATV & 4x4 trails too, but the single track is what you come here for. Trails ranger from mild to extreme, unless you've done the tough stuff in Moab then only hard :) .
